This dilemma could be answered by providing way as to opting for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), which could be considered as an entry-level exam for taking admission abroad. Though it is assessed on a scoreboard of 340, the same cannot be construed as a guarantor of facilitating admission abroad w could be construed as mere proving eligibility to study abroad. GRE has been divided into three parts into terms ranging from Analytical Writing to Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning. The GRE sample test could be regarded as a clue to determine the difficulty level of the test. Upon taking an overview of analytical writing, analytical writing could be said not to be based on any specific subject, but to be based on critical thinking and analysis on part of the candidate. The analytical aspect has been divided into two parts, which provide for analyzing an issue and also analyzing an argument. These two parts are the key determiners for the analytical writing part of the examination, and it becomes a difficult task to take upon this part if not given proper time and effort.
To overcome any problems some of the tips to score well in the analytical writing part are identified as under:
- Issues Evaluation: A candidate needs to evaluate the issues properly, which are provided in the paper to score good marks in the examination. Proper evaluation by the candidate would enable the candidate to enjoy the benefit of evaluating the scenario and also providing the appropriate answers to the issue. In any case, wherein the candidate fails to evaluate the issues correctly, then in such a case, it might create a hindrance for the candidate in scoring better in the GRE.
- Developing Writing skills: It is one of the most important aspects of clearing the analytical aspect of the paper. Taking into consideration the aspect that the candidate is supposed to critically analyze and provide his arguments, such cannot be performed in case one lacks writing skills. One needs to develop one’s writing skills and make relative use of it in answering the issues involved in the paper.
- Review oneself: It is important to review one’s writing along with reviewing the score based on the arguments produced in the analytical writing aspect. It will provide a clear aspect as to the level of the candidate and would also provide an opportunity to develop oneself based on the reviews.
Though some tips have been provided to take a grip over the examination but based on the pattern of the examination, it is always advised to put extra effort in the analytical writing part and frequently opt for the GRE sample test, which is being offered through various platforms and would act as a facilitator in self-reviews and preparing for the examination.
