SR Kalyanamandapam
Indian Telugu-language romantic action film SR Kalyanamandapam Est. 1975, directed by Sridhar Gade and written by Kiran Abbavaram, is scheduled for release in 2021. Abbavaram, Priyanka Jawalkar, and Sai Kumar feature in the Elite Entertainments production. Chaitan Bharadwaj is the man behind the music. Kalyan, a young man, strives to mend his connection with his father, Dharma, while falling in love with Sindhu, a student at his high school. Additionally, he seeks to fulfill a commitment to his mother about taking care of SR Kalyanamandapam’s obligations.
Karnan
Mari Selvaraj and S. Thanu collaborated on the music for the Indian film Karnan, released in 2021. Santhosh Narayanan composed the score, which incorporates lyrics by Yugabharathi and Mari Selvaraj. Yugabharathi also wrote the soundtrack.
Santhosh, who joined the film’s pre-production crew in September 2019, began composing in November. Traditional Tamil Nadu folk music forms the basis of the soundtrack, which indigenous folk artists recorded. Three of the film’s seven tracks are instrumental. The film’s album launch was conducted on March 7, 2021, despite the excellent reception of three of the songs released as singles.
Soorarai Pottru
Suriya and Guneet Monga’s 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment are producing Soorarai Pottru, a 2020 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed and produced by Sudha Kongara. Kongara came up with the idea for the narrative and wrote it.
An additional script was written by Aalif Surti and Ganesha, while the dialogue was written by Vijay Kumar and Kongara and Shalini Ushadevi. Mohan Babu and Urvashi are among the supporting cast members in the film, which also stars Suriya and Aparna Balamurali, and Paresh Rawal.
Master
Lokesh Kanagaraj wrote and directed Master, a 2021 Indian Tamil-language action film. The film, directed by Xavier Britto and produced by his first production company, XB Film Creators, stars Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, with Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, Arjun Das, and Gouri G. Kishan in supporting parts.
Lokesh Kanagaraj presented the script to Vijay in May 2019, and following his approval, the film was released in August 2019. Kanagaraj authored the narrative, screenplay, and dialogues, with Rathna Kumar and Pon Parthiban recognized as co-writers. The primary photography began in October 2019 and was completed in February 2020; the entire film was shot in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Karnataka in 129 working days.
Uppena
Buchi Babu Sana’s Uppena is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by him. Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty make their acting debut in the movie, featuring Vijay Sethupathi. The plot follows Aasi (Tej), a fisherman who falls in love with Bebamma, set in 2002 near Kakinada (Shetty). Following a launch ceremony in January 2019, the producers began principal photography in May 2019, with the film being shot in Kakinada, Hyderabad, Puri, Kolkata, and Gangtok, and wrapping in January 2020. The film was supposed to be released on April 2, 2020, but it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was a box office success when released theatrically on February 12, 2021
